The scientific training is an important task of IBAF. The Institute promotes training of future researchers through the allocation and tutoring of scholarships and grants, as well as in agreement with several universities (Perugia, Viterbo and Rome) and with the business world tutoring of Experimental Thesis for degrees in in Biology, Environmental Science, Agricultural Science and Technology, Forestry and Environmental Sciences as well as tutoring of PhD Thesis in Forest Ecology. Through international partnerships developed through important scientific bilateral agreements between the CNR and foreign scientific institutions or through direct relationships between researchers, in recent years, many young scientists from Germany, Finland, Portugal, Bulgaria, China, India, Baltic Countries, India and Argentina have participated at our laboratories to stages of scientific training and research activities of different duration from a few months to one or two years.
