SaveTheDate 2 maggio TREES AFTER FIRES

On the occasion of the presentation of the Research Project of Relevant National Interest “TREES AFTER FIRES: an investigation about the ecology and ecophysiology of trees impacted by forest fires,” a day of in-depth discussion and exchange will be held on the topic of forest fires, which often affect the black pine reforestations of the last century in the central Apennines.
The presentations will explore various specific aspects of the general topic, with the case study of Mt. Morrone as a common thread.
The language used will be accessible also to non-specialists, while maintaining scientific rigor.

Researchers, professionals, and public institutions will come together to discuss actions to be taken for the prevention, securing, and restoration of degraded forest ecosystems.
