The Future of Italian Fashion: Agriculture, Research, Innovation, and Sustainability Save The Date

On April 16, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM, the event “The Future of Italian Fashion: Agriculture, Research, Innovation, and Sustainability” will take place at Beste-Hub in Prato.

The event will bring together various key players from the research world, including the Institute of Research on Terrestrial Ecosystems and the Institute for BioEconomy of the National Research Council (CNR IRET and CNR IBE), the Council for Agricultural Research and Economics (CREA), and the European Forest Institute (EFI). However, its true strength lies in its multidisciplinary approach, as it is co-organized with Beste and the Giorgio Armani Group.

Government and institutional representatives will also be in attendance, such as Tommaso Foti, Minister for European Affairs, Cohesion Policy, and the PNRR, Patrizio Giacomo La Pietra, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty, and Forests, and Chiara La Porta, a member of the Agriculture Committee of the Chamber of Deputies. The event will also welcome prominent figures from the institutional, business, and academic sectors, as well as young students of Fashion and Agriculture.

With three discussion panels, the event represents a significant opportunity to foster an engaging dialogue on the needs and prospects of the future of Italian fashion—from the fields to the catwalks—focusing on research, innovation, and an integrated approach to sustainability.

Participation by invitation only.
